Join us 1 PM ET Thursday for the First “Open Q&A with OurChurch.Com” Hangout

    Paul SteinbrueckBy Paul SteinbrueckOct 29, 2013Updated:Jan 30, 20234 Comments2 Mins Read

Got questions about web design, search marketing, social media, communications or strategy?

Stop in any time between 1 PM & 2 Pm ET Thursday, October 31 for the first ever “Open Q&A with OurChurch.Com”

OurChurch.Com co-founder, Paul Steinbrueck, (that’s me) will host a live Google+ Hangout on Air. You’ll be able to ask questions in a live video chat. Or if you’re a little camera shy, you’ll also be able post text questions on the Google+ event page or via Twitter (hashtag #occQnA).

Search Marketing (SEO) Expert Joining Us

One of the biggest happenings in the online work in the last month or so has been a change to Google’s search algorithm, so I’ve asked our Director of Search Marketing, Kurt Steinbrueck, to join us for our inaugural Q&A so he can answer any questions you may have about search.

    You are the Agenda

The purpose of these weekly, 1 hour Q&As is to help you achieve your mission online by giving you the insight you need to succeed.

    • They will not be topic-oriented (though I may get the ball rolling by talking about a particular topic for a few minutes).
    • They will not be guest-oriented (though we may have guests some weeks).
    • There will be no agenda or pre-defined discussion questions.

We will simply answer the questions participants ask.

If you have a question and can’t make it Thursday to ask it live, feel free to post it to the event page.  I’m going to give top priority to answering questions asked by video, second priority to text questions posted during the event, but I’ll try to get to as many pre-posted questions as well.

    So, who’s in?

Go to the Open Q&A with OurChurch.Com event and click “Yes,” I’m going!

Hi, monitored part of your inaugural Q & A. Good idea! Just have to learn how to join in…clicked the google link, but detoured somewhere. You and Debbie sent a confirming email yesterday (Oct 30th) that graceac.org website was transferred, tested, and functioning. Pastor Clark began checking email at pa****@gr*****.org and couldn't do so. At transfer from getyourchurchdomain/puritynames, did our email boxes transfer, too? Completely, so we could still use them, or do we need to work with ourchurch.com to set them up again? Also, tried to send a ticket to occ about this and a couple of other website build items, but got a fatal error prompt when I clicked send.

HI Cecil, thanks for checking out the Q&A. Hope you can join us again next week! I've created a help desk ticket, copied your comment into it, and brought it to Debbie's attention so she can help you.
